Film slitting machine is mainly used to cut large format film material into small pieces of required size. It works as follows.
Feeding part.
The film material is released from the reel stand and enters the slitting machine through the tension control device.
The tension control device maintains the proper tension of the film material during the slitting process.
Slitting Section.
The film enters the slitting rollers, which are rotated by a motorized drive.
The blades fixed on the slitting rollers cut the film, and the cutting width is controlled by the spacing of the blades.
The rotating speed of the slitting rollers and the feeding speed can be controlled by servo motors to ensure the cutting precision.
Winding section.
The cut film material is wound on the reel through the winding device to form small rolls.
The winding device also has a tension control system to ensure that the tension of the film material is stable during the winding process.
